Black Widow Gone Wild, crazy good stop-motion!

This is why Black Widow is my favorite avenger.

Also this is why having great action figures makes life better.

ROSA is an amazing short film that showcases what one person can do with enough time and effort. Completely done by Jesús Orellana and certainly worth a watch.

Remember all of those posts related to Bakemonogatari a while back?  Well the sequel is running now, and the animation is just as amazing.  Here’s the ending credits since I can’t seem to find clips of the openings.

Really though, if you haven’t watched anything from SHAFT, then go right now and hunt down anything from their studio. You won’t regret it.

A try to visualize the flow of the famous painting “Starry Night” of Vincent Van Gogh.

The State of the Internet by JESS3

An animated info graphic showing off the stats of the internet. Using the graphic nature of the infographic, JESS3 animates it well using light and movement without abandoning the iconic style of the modern infographic.

I would be very interested to see the updated figures.

While I have a rather specific hatred for the movie version of Beowulf, even I cannot deny it was well animated.

A rather abridged version of the dragon fight.

Submissions Open

Hey all.  After some thought and deliberation, I’ve opened up the submissions box.  I’m only one person and there is only so much I know about in the world of animated things.  There must be entire worlds worth of amazing work I’m missing!

So help me fill the gap a bit.  Have something to share?  Go for it!  As long as its animated, and brings something interesting to the table, I’m all for it!

COMPLETELY COMPUTER GENERATED- I think this is what one might call a “masterpiece.”

I am inclined to agree.  A breathtaking piece focusing on architecture seen from a photographic point of view.  If you can, this is really worth an HD full screen viewing.
